Oil/water and fat separatorsOil/water separators are necessary in all kinds of vehicle and machine repair shops, garages, petrol stations, car washes, scrap yards... The aim of the separator is to separate the remains of oil, mineral oil, fuel, etc. in the water. Our oil/water separator systems are built in accordance with the standard DIN 1999 and the European standards UNE-EN 858-1 and UNE-EN 858-2 The process starts by settling the heavy elements, normally sands. Because of water and oil have different weights, they will settle at the lower and upper part of the tank, respectively. The water will be collected from the lower part of the tank and taken to the next compartment by coalescence, where the small drops of oil that were too small to be separated will come together into larger drops. The last process is the closing valve, which stops the oil from getting out and blocks the outlet in case the maximum retention capacity is exceeded. Fat separatorsFat separators are used to separate the remains of animal, vegetable fats, and detergents. They are an essential product for communities such as hotels, restaurants, bars, camp sites…Our systems are built in accordance with the standard DIN 4040 and the European standard UNE-EN 1825-2, with up to 90% fat reduction. The water flows in first and the heavier solid elements settle in the lower part of the tank. Simultaneously, the animal fats and detergents will separate because of their different weights, and they will go to the upper part of the tank. The water outlet tube is situated in the middle part of the separator, which means that heavy solid elements (settled in the lower part) and the fat and detergents (in the upper part) cannot come out.
